joão pedro locatelli cezar
He started medical school at age 17, far from the comfort of Erechim, RS, where he was born and raised. With academic growth, while still in college, he began to work as an English and French language teacher as his first job. With his diploma in hand, he worked as a Brazilian Army doctor on missions to assist the population and assist the military and their families. Afterwards, he began his medical residency in pediatrics at the Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). As a pediatrician, he followed his medical residency in pediatric hematology and hemotherapy, also at HCPA.
In addition to medicine, he enjoys technology and is studying how it can help in doctor-patient interactions and increase the quality and continuity of care. He also creates and draws paintings with a minimalist aesthetic, plays video games, plays with his four-legged partner, and is interested in gastronomy and the kitchen.
